Hongfei URBAN Standing Electric VTOL Aircraft

Hongfei Urban is a standing-type manned aircraft designed with human-centric philosophy. It features lightweight compliance, intuitive control, multi-layered comprehensive safety and convenient low-altitude urban flight capabilities. Breaking the conventional paradigm of traditional cabins, seats and complex control mechanisms, it delivers a personal low-altitude aircraft realizing "human-machine integration". Unlike the seated sightseeing configuration of the Dream series, Urban is engineered for portability, ease of operation, light-duty low-altitude commuting, emergency rescue and cultural tourism sightseeing scenarios.

The aircraft is developed around core objectives: high safety, heavy payload, light weight and immersive standing experience. By eliminating traditional seats, enclosed cabins and complicated foot-operated control mechanisms, Urban greatly reduces structural weight. This meets regulatory requirements for ultra-light aircraft worldwide, substantially lowering airworthiness certification barriers and making personal air travel more accessible and legally available to the public.

Hongfei Urban adopts a quadrotor power configuration with a balanced symmetric dual-platform design:
· Mechanical layout: Separated standing platforms on the left and right, with power units evenly distributed on both sides. The aircraft’s center of gravity naturally aligns with the standing pilot’s center of gravity, ensuring superior stability during takeoff, landing, lateral flight and hover.
· Landing impact is evenly distributed. Optimized landing gear refines the impact transmission path during hard landings for safe touchdown. The four-arm split battery compartments support quick battery swap and capacity expansion to meet longer range requirements.
· Equipped with military-grade NA80 flight control system, it features millisecond-level fault detection and automatic switching. This minimizes the probability of single-point system failure of Urban to an industry-leading low level, providing fundamental safeguards for flight safety.
