Electric and Oil-Powered Plant Protection Drones

Plant protection drones can be divided into electric drones and oil-powered drones according to the different power.

1. Electric plant protection drones

1

Using battery as the power source, it is characterized by simple structure, easy to maintain, easy to master, and does not require high level of pilot operation.

The overall weight of the machine is lighter, easy to transfer, and can adapt to the operation of complex terrain. The disadvantage is that the wind resistance is relatively weak, and the range depends on the battery to achieve.

2. Oil-powered plant protection drones

Adopting fuel as the power source, it is characterized by easy access to fuel, lower direct power cost than electric plant protection drones, and large weight cutting capacity. For drones with the same load, the oil-powered model has a larger wind field, a more pronounced downward pressure effect and a stronger wind resistance.

The disadvantage is that it is not easy to control and requires high operational ability of the pilot, and the vibration is also higher and the control accuracy is lower.

Both can be said to have their advantages and disadvantages, and with the technological progress of lithium polymer batteries, relying on battery-powered plant protection drones with increasingly long endurance, the future will have more plant protection machines to choose the battery for power.
